If projects depend on each other, they don't simply follow-up one after the other. Splitvice uses milestones to add interdependencies on the detail level you want.

To do so:

• define a milestone as visible to other projects
• define in the second project you want to use that milestone
• In your Gantt chart, the external milestone becomes visible at the top of the Gantt chart and you can set dependencies just like on internal milestones

Projects that use also physical resources need those during certain work packages. Define your resources, add them to the work packages that need them, and the simulations will detect potential bottlenecks.
